Hello girls!!!!

wow, have spent at least an hour reading through posts and still not caught up with them all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS G! I hope you have a fab time at your party. I'm sorry AF caught up with you in the end, it was sounding really promising.

Jamie...don't worry hun. When I was pg with my son OH and I were really worried about how we'd cope, and it has been a lot easier than we feared!
Sure, there's a lot of stuff you can't really do anymore but being a parent more than makes up for it. I feel a lot more content with life since I've become a mum, even though I do a lot less than I used to. Even OH has said he doesn't know what he was worried about!
When we first met he said he didn't want any kids, now he wants number 2, so it can't be that bad

I so love my dishwasher, only had it for just under a year and when it broke a few weeks ago I was gutted. They are life changing!

Sorry , I'm not ignoring you but I feel a bit ill :puke: . Got a headache and feel sick :( . Been for a bath to see if it made me feel better but I had to get out cause I just want to lie down. May mean that the dreaded Aunt may pay me a visit during the night  . The headaches are usually a sign. Right I'm going to go to bed.

Night all

It's quiet in here at... ooo 02:35 (that's AM ... yawns)

This is the reason I'm up... Poorly Hubby

I'm on the lookout for increase in severity of symptoms so need to keep myself awake.

Morning girls

i went to Tesco last night to get a test, just to put my mind at rest, and it was a BFN BUT....im not to bothered this month, af has been and gone and at least i can get drunk for my birthday - whoo hoo :cheer: :rotfl:

but....guess what i found once i had been to blinkin' tesco for a test???.....the test EmmyLou sent me...grrrr

well im in a smiley, happy mood today for some reason - might be because the weather is so lovely....BUT......i was soooo upset yesterday at work i was crying (i felt like a right loon!!) because Danny is on bloody Guard on my birthday, i am soo mad, they always make him do weekend duties and not his mates, his mate's GF (remember the one whos pregnant  ) its her birthday on Saturday as its mine on Sunday and guess what? HE is allowed home for her birthday but Danny's not for mine, i was sooooo upset - he is signing off asap though im sick to death of the army and after seeing how upset i was yesterday he says he is leaving - thank f*ck is all i can say!!!

Hope everyone is alright - Skairdy you better get that BFP next week girl!!! lol i know you will :cheer:

Awwww Miss G I'm sorry the army are being such tw*ts

My cousins hubbie and her son were both in the army. Her and her hubbie lived in Germany for a while then Aldershot. He left after they had kids, think he had to buy himself out...is that right? Then a few years ago their youngest joined up. They really didn't want him to but he did anyway. He went to Iraq, he was driving etc, sorry don't know the right name for that part of the Army :? . Anyway he hated it to and has now left.

Well I think AF is defo on the way. Just feel like she's here already TBH. Had some dark brown discharge when I got up & now it's just when I wipe. It could be IB but I really don't think it is. I spotted like this last month as well for a few days before AF so maybe thats just how it's going to be now at AF time. Heres to next month then :D

Morning everyone

Miss G - my dad was army (military police so we wouldn't be v popular  ) and my brother is RAF now - it's one of those things that you can't always get the time you want :( If he hasn't left by the time you have a baby will you marry and get quarters or you stay at home?

Jamie - I can't even remember what it was like not to have children :D For me it was a huge change - I was a single mum, working and basically partying, from that to domestic goddess was a bit of a shock  but even having done it once, and DH 3 times before it'll still be a change for us as we only have a teenager at home now. It's great though - you get to do different things - not do nothing anymore. So you get the zoo and the beach and things like that but from a whole new viewpoint

morning everyone :cheer:

I hope your hubbys feeling better today MM, sounds like you've both had a bad night. I remember when I had to call paramedics for James when he was a few days old (he stopped breathing). It was the worst experience of my life (and would be his as well if he could remeber it!)
I was so off my head with panic it was like space men were piling into the living room!
I hope you can get some sleep today if your little one lets you, it sounds like you were up for ages last night.

Miss G, I don't blame you for being upset about Danny not being there for your birthday. I'm sure he will make it up to you though when he does get back.
My dad was in the army before I was born, and my mum hated it because she was often left alone with my older brother and sister who were only 11 months apart in age. When my older brother was 3 months old they all had to move to a base in Singapore for 3 years, and my mum was really unhappy. That was in the late 60's though so things are probably a lot different now.
Its lovely that Danny's willing to leave because he knows it upsets you. I think a lot of men would be relunctant to do that.
Maybe you should consider getting married so you can live on base? At least then in the meantime you'd see more of him.
