me and OH are currently lookin for a new house. we cant buy a house atm coz no one is willin to give us a morgage coz we only have one income.

we are gonna rent with a housing association which in a years time they will offer us to buy which we prob will. itll be cheaper than a morgage aswell so thats a nice bonus :)

We looked into this, but OH is a snob, and won't. We only have the 1 income, we have been offered mortgages (we can't afford them though!). What annoys the hell out of me is seeing people on those property programmes on TV is when people have dilemmas finding a home when they have like 1million as a budget - I always see loads of houses on there that I like! Damn it!!

i know it bugs the hell out of me. wot pees me off most is that all these morgages ppl say the do deals on first time buyers.....do they hell all our houses in our area range from 80.000-110.000 and they offered us 60.000 that wont even get us a run down old shed lol.

Tell me about it

Have asked for the details of a few houses to be sent to us - on was £119,115(ish) but not the type of house we want, but never mind - worth a look!

If we only wanted 2 bedrooms we could do a bit better, but if we want at least 2 kids, things will get a bit cramped!

MM maybe a 2 bed place is an option?

At least it gets you on property ladder and then you gain interest on your house very quick to be able to move to bigger place?

:cheer:

We're probably going to have to look into it
Although tbh we've got a couple of years to look as we want a bigger deposit than we have at the moment.
Tempted to get some bricks and start building my own house ;)

Sound like a plan. Or you get get a place that need a bit of work and do up yourselfs

would try that, but neither OH or I have any DIY skills so we would make a right hash of it

It has always been my dream to find a run down cottage or house and make it beautiful, but in reality I have no sense of style or taste so I would do more harm than good!!!!

Evening all

Well, for the last few days I've been getting a dull ache low down in my tummy. Kind of like AF pains but I'm not due on till the 22nd!!! I really don't want to start symptom spotting like last month then come on and look like a right numpty again  . But I don't know.......maybe it's all the positve thinking you guys are doing thats rubbing off on me.....but I like Miss G just 'feel' it may be my month  . I hope I don't end up regretting saying that :? .

I'm finishing work at 12 tomorrow so will be on soon after that

Skairdy - you're at exactly the same point I was when I was having AF pains every night. If we're not - I have no idea what they are becuase I've never had them before like that :?

I bought my council house - it cost me £35,000 :D With the work we're putting into it it should be worth £90k when its finished. I don't want to move tho - all my family live around me (I mean literally 1 to 2 streets away. I can see my Nan's house and 1 of my sister's houses from my window  ) But we have to do a loft conversion when I (finally) get pregnant as its only 2 bedroom. We could divide my bedroom as its huge...but I like it :D

Had an evening off here last night and feeling a little calmer - I also start my longer hours today :D But I've woke up with AF pains again...same as yesterday but they disappeared. :?

hey skairdy - maybe its our month girl!!!?

another thing as well i havent been able to stop, putting it politely, trumping!! so i hope to god i am otherwise im going to look a right wally LOL

im also getting extremely hungry too, say for instance last week i could eat my breakfast around 7.30am and then not have anything to eat untl my lunch at 12pm - but yesterday and this morning i feel like i havent eaten, even though i have, yesterday i had to have some chocolate (i know - sticking to the diet hey? ) before my lunch i was that hungry!!!

im still getting those dull aches too!!

how is everyone this morning?? :D

Did you libs? Well thats four of us now who've had the pains around the same time in our cycles - you, me, leanne & jemz - & jemz got a faint pos didn't she? So fingers crossed it's a real good sign    . I've never had pains this soon before AF either  .

I had a crappy sleep last night, just tossing and turning for hours......then the thunder started  . We sleep in the attic so when it rains we have to shut the windows otherwise it rains in LOL, and the rain sounds sooooooo loud, it's like sleeping in a caravan.

Speak later around 12 when I get back from work

hey skairdy i sleep in attic too and couldnt sleep properly, was tossing and turning all night, i must have dropped off then about 3am rain started coming down really really heavy and i had window wide open so took me ages to get back to sleep again - i was soo hot and bothered!!!!

im gonna have to go and eat a biscuit im marvin !!!!

skairdy are you testing on the same day as me then hunny still? :D

The thunder hasn't hit here yet - so we're horribly sticky and waiting for it. :( Josh still off school - he went better yesterday daytime but slept from 5 all through the night - woke him to eat a little and drink and that was it.

Miss G - try some protein rich food - it fills you up better and might help - eggs best bet for breakfast - when I was dieting I found if I had scrambled egg for breakfast then I found it easier all day.

Sorry miss G, you must have posted the same time as me.

I really hope we are all going to get our BFP's this month I really do.

I've been farting a lot too and quite stinky too  . Can get Rob back now for all the ones he's done :rotfl:

i know what you mean - yesterday my mum had a man in to do the laminate flooring and i couldnt stop trumping it was soo embarrasing - and to mention it i have done it a hell of a lot more in the past week or so!!!!

i hope these are all good signs sweetie!!

when are you gonna test then SK?

Morning girls.
I might not be on much today.
DD and I have a bad bug - it's affecting me more than her (which is going to make me getting her egg and soldiers for breakfast a bit challenging!) but I have to get on with it.
Last night I couldn't leave the bathroom  I had some s+d but somehow managed to stop myself from bneing sick (if I am sick I can't stop crying - even though I am a grown woman, being sick still makes me cry  ) but I kept feeling like I was going to poo myself   (sorry tmi!)
I'm ok if I sit very still, but I have to move to look after my daughter and that's when I feel queezy at both ends

Hope you girls are all ok - fingers crossed for all of your symptoms.
Will speak properly tomoorow as will just be on in dribs and drabs today!
