My supportive husband strikes again....!
I did another one of my cheap tests about an hour ago because he wanted me to and yet again the line came up but was probably the faintest yet. I told him it was dead faint, so he takes a look and says (and I quote) "It shouldn't be that faint, it's a negative"
Now I love him to bits but he is seriously starting to get on my nerves!!
MEN!
Did 3 tests this morning 1 definite BFN and the 2 cheapies came up with very very faint lines - even though they have a tinge of colour to them, I am seriuosly considering them evapouration lines
Cheapies: (yes I did 2 wanted to make sure)
Not so cheapie:
AF hasn't got me yet, but seems like it will be soon - starting to realise that some of my 'symptoms' were probably AF on her way and my mind playing tricks
Awww hun don't lose hope just yet. They do say that a line no matter how faint is a positive don't they? The other test that was neg may not detect as much HCG as the others hun. Maybe wait for a few days then test again hun because the hormone will double I think every 48 hours.
Yeah hun libs is right. It's mad but your better off just getting cheapies IMO because they seem to work better don't they. And becs had some trouble last month with Clearblue ones didn't she?
This is horrible for you, if you have the same weather as us - its gorgeous - go out, find something to do and forget about it. Have a rant at us and try not to poas until Monday. Hcg will have quadrupled by then so you'll know more
The ones off ebay measure 10 units and the clear blue and tesco etc ones dont show until 25 units ...... Do you always use the same supplier from ebay? Maybe different tests show stronger colours earlier? When I went through this last month someone recommended that i use a clearblue one that actually said pregnant or not - it said not but at least I could get my head around it!!
But also - on the off chance you've had a chemical - think of it this way - you haven't been stupid those symptoms really did exist, you know it is possible to get a bfp and soemtimes although she seems horrible mother nature knows what shes doing
I've always used the same supplier off ebayer - the first cheapies I did were fromthe pharmacy on Thursday and they came up with lines too.
It's just today that everything seems to be going downhill
I feel like I've done something wrong - messed up somewhere, you know? Like I was pregnant on Thursday but now I'm not.
EDIT: just seen libs post - not to be thick, but what exactly is a chemical pg?
I know exactly how you feel - this happened to us last month - my OH was so excited - didnt think we would be able to conceive because of our ages so when it happened on the second attempt he was over the moon - god did I feel stupid a couple of days later .........
I know it doesnt help but even if it was a chemical prg then atleast it shows your body is working - thats how I looked at it in the end - after crying for about 48 hours!!! Not much help really but I just didnt want you to think you are on your own - it really sucks this waiting thing doesnt it!!
hmmm not sure of the exact medical definition but I think it is where an egg is fertilised but does not implant? so you get a small rise in hormones but as it does not actually implant they never get any higher and then AF starts .........
Well thats my understanding - not sure if its right but thats what I think happened to us.
