Hello,
I've been tried to conceive for 18 months. Got lucky straight away but sadly had a very early MC. Since then periods have gone completely haywire. They used to be a regular 37 days but now vary wildly and can be up to 95 days which makes timing things difficult to say the least.
I've been referred to a fertility clinic and the consultant says due to my age (39) that he wants me to start IVF. So I'm now waiting to hear from the clinic to see if I need a laparoscopy before I start. If not then I have a bag of needles upstairs and will begin my first cycle when I get my next period.
I'm very nervous about the whole thing, especially doling the injections. I got a bit overwhelmed with all the info I was given at my last appointment and am worried that if my current cycle is as long as the last one, I wont get to start till after xmas and I'll have forgotten everything the nurse told me.
