Hello Everyone

I am back! I decided to take time out from the forum as I felt I needed to clear my head.

Just an update on myself and hubby, we never went ahead with the adoption process, I couldn't handle the fact it's not a baby or child I have not given birth to myself, does that make sense.

Since then me and hubby have been enjoying life and putting the fact behind us that we may never ever have children, I even been through counselling for depression because I could not get my head around the whole thing. I am okay and on the mend :)

I have joined slimming world and aim to lose 6 stones by November, my big 30! In the meantime we hope to start a fresh and get back on the bandwagon and look at alternative ways on trying to get us pregnant! We went back to see our consultant, who previously signed us off completely and he has advised to lose the weight and get my hubby to start to do the stuff he was supposed to do before, but will he that's the question?

I sometimes feel like he has lost all hope and don't want to bother to try things to improve his chances of increasing his sperm count, which currently stands at £1 million per m/l

I hope I can start speaking to people again on here and make friends along the way, as well as picking up tips and advice. I did previously make friends on here, in which we have all lost touch, due to life and them achieving their dreams, shame really :(

Lovely to be back :)

welcome back! good luck in your journey :)

Hi, welcome back. Sounds like you have a good plan, lots of luck for the weight loss. I'm aiming to lose 10kg this year, well aiming for 7-8 to start with then maybe 2-3 more would be great.

Welcome back and good look in your weight loss and ttc journey :) xx

My oh increased his sperm count from 21 million to 50 million by taking wellman conception, zinc and vitamins c, d and e. He also had a big improvement in motility which is why he took them really. Might be worth considering as its an easy change to make?

Good luck with the weight loss and hope you get your bfp soon xxx

Welcome back! Lots of us are reading Marisa Peer's book on positive thinking and are feeling much better about everything. Have you read it?
