Held my first baby today!

I've never held a baby before, or even been in the same room as a new born but my friend who had a wee boy Callum 3 weeks ago popped over for a visit. I've been nervous about meeting Callum as I haven't been around babies before and with being a mum in 3 months time I was even more nervous. It went better than I thought, she even let me hold him. I got too broody! I was excited about meeting Aimee before but now I cannot wait.

I'm glad i'm not the only one that has never held a new baby before! I too got to hold my OH daughters baby the other day who was 1 day old. I was quite nervous but now i'm really excited and can't wait to hold my own baby boy in july.

i love babies

we went for a meal sunday with some friends from ireland and met thier baby for the 1st time, me and ken just went all slushy and starry eyed
