anyone know any tips to get rid of it without taking tablets or taking gavascon? i'm get it every day and its driving me potty

I have been getting it really bad and found that Gavison plus I think it is, is the only thing that works for me, its a nightmare darling really is I feel for you cause I get it at least once a day!

i hate taking things like gaascon or tablets so i think i'll just cope with it for now it's CONSTANT atm (guess my baby will have hair   lots of it)

I have never suffered from it before in my life and its the worst thing in the world.. I was told to try not to eat anything spicy but its not always spicy stuff that does it, some people say milk helps, then some people say it does but to be honest I wasnt able to try it cause I aint been able to drink milk the whole time ive been pregnant! the midwife was telling me to eat little and often cause a hungry tummy makes it worse!!

mke get hungry :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: i have heart burn from drinking milk, eating icecream, having apples the LOT lol oh well i know it's a good thing really :cheer: :D

Try anything minty! Extra strong mints or brushing my teeth help me. Although if it's really bad I HAVE to have the gaviscon!

Sucking chocolate used to help with my son because it's thick and coats everything, thick milkshake or thick vanilla yogurt. I had it really bad with Aiden and had to get gaviscon on repeat prescription because i was drinking it like water and it got very expensive.

Luckily i hardly have it this time round, only if i eat melted cheese.

I have never suffered from heartburn and I have gotten it LOADS!

I find sitting up does wonders. Also if I have eaten something that seems to kick it off I completely avoid it cos it aint worth it.

Gaviscon is good... the chalk tablets tho are eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

i have been taking rennie fruits and drinking milk.
