Ok, this is a first as far as I can remember.

My heart feels like its beating pretty fast in my chest. I'm doing nothing. Sitting on the couch, drinking caffeine free diet coke!

Anyone else had this? I've had a google and doesn't seem too uncommon...hopefully?!

Could be anemia hunny, have you had you blood tests yet? x x

Thanks hun. Yeah all came back normal except blood sugar was a bit low, prob because I hadn't eaten. Not sure what to do.

Id get something to eat and keep an eye on it, if it settles down just mention it to your midwife next time but if your worried just give her a quick call x x

I had that! Totally freaky, but I think it's just to do with the extra blood you have pumping around now. It was that with me, but also a wee bit of anxiety before the 12 week scan. I would def mention it to MW and get the confirmation that it's all OK, which it will be, just good to hear officially! xx

I got this everyday during my pregnancy and the midwife said it was nothing to worry about, just a case of extra hormones and your blood pumping faster around the body. I hated it, it started off random every so often, then everyday but sometimes it would go for a couple weeks then come back, drove me mad, I had this weird feeling with it as well felt kind of like Iwas falling (only way I can explain it), bit like the start of a panic attack. It is really common though but if youre worried just give your mw a quick call to put your mind at ease :)

Thanks ladies.

I called mw and she said that it can be common at this stage and asked me if I had any headaches, nausea atm, etc. I haven't, although I felt awful this morning, which isn't unusual. She said just to rest and keep an eye on it. She said if I am worried later on to call back and she can arrange for someone to see me if need be.

I hope it stops now!

I had a few before I fell pregnant but about 5 mins ago I had one and it seemed like it went on forever this time, I put my head between my knees, it stops alot sooner this way, the doc told my mum to do this when she has them. Hope this helps xx

Thanks hun will remember that if it happens again! Gone now thank god but lasted a good few hours!

Hope you're doing well.

Xxxx

id say your either a bit anxious which is to be expected or the blood being pumped...remember how hard your body is working to pump everything round...might be worth a trip to dr or a call to mw tho
