healthy weight?

whats a healthy weight for a prem baby to come home?

my friend little girl came home a couple of weeks ago at 4lb 1oz they were more bothered that she was feeding ok and holding her temp

well Dior was 5lb 0oz and she came home the dy after she was born.


but also depends on loads of other things even if the baby weighed 8lb but was havin difficulty taking a bottle ect then she would have to stay in

Ella was 4lb 6oz when she came home, i dont think they let under 4lbs out as thats what they told me

the only problem madis having at the mo is she is so skinny cause she wernt building up and fat so hopfully it wont be long also she needs to grow a tiny bit so she can feed properly

Feeding will be the issue and is she maintaining her temperature?

yep shes doing everything her self just the feeding now

she does have a really good sucking reflex though!
