Hcg level?

So I had blood taken at my doctors surgery on Tuesday and the doctor called me today with the results. He said it’s 13700 and thinks it’s quite high for how far along I am? I’m 6weeks tomorrow. I’ve got to go in for a scan tomorrow now to rule out molar pregnancy (his words)
I’m terrified now.
I’ve googled the heck out of this and read on other forums about hcg level at 6 weeks and lots of other women have said theirs were higher than mine?
Anyone here had their level checked? And if so what was it?

I had mine checked at 5+1 or 2 and it was 5200 so it would easily have been as high as yours at 6wks. Doctor just said at the time it was a great sign. I'm 14wks now. Hope it's all good for you.

It doesn't sound super high, especially considering that it can double every 72hrs so if you implanted early or were a couple days different to what you thought it could make a big difference. Probably your doctor is just being cautious.

Mine was 32000 at 6 weeks when I was admitted for a suspected eptopic pregnancy, the specialist said the higher it is the more likely it is that the pregnancy is progressing normally then sent me for an emergency scan just to be sure and everything was fine. Please don’t worry, you’re level seems to be well within the scale x

I was told at early scan that with a level of 5000 an ectopic would already have ruptured so they weren't concerned about that? If it's true it might put someone else's mind at ease in the future so thought Id add it

Yes! Everything was fine and saw a little heartbeat.. thanks for asking
