Having a scan

Hi,

I have some news from the doctors my DH got his results back from the doctors about his sperm test they said his count was just a little under from being perfect they said because he was an1 and a half late with the tests that could have affected the results as has to be brought to the lab within 2 hours and he got stuck in snow...i am still waiting to get my blood taking everytime i get an appoinment it gets cancelled because of the snow i got a letter in saying i have to go for a Transvaginal ultrasound on the 27th of this month can anyone give me advice on this?

I've had a transvaginal scan, they offer those sometimes instead of a regular scan as they can get a much clearer picture. It was absolutely fine, not even half as bad as a smear test as the camera they use only goes in a little way (sorry if TMI!) it doesn't hurt at all. Good luck hon x x

Hey Hun

I had a transvaginal scan on the 2nd and it was fine, like Bella said its more comfortable then having a smear, they put a round cushion under me which lifted my bum in the air and she covered my lap with a towel so didnt have to worry about exposure, it took a couple of minutes for her to take the pictures, you can feel her pushing it up against the sides of your cervix wall but its not painful at all.

Good luck with the tests, I am getting my 21 bloods done this month as well.
