Have had docs appointment brought forward

I've had a slight pin pricking pain on and off in my shoulder all day today -not a bad pain, just an uncomfortable one and one I've never ever had before. I remembered this afternoon that shoulder tip pain can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy so freaked out a bit and called the docs to let them know I was concerned about it ahead of my appointment on Monday. They have now brought my appointment forward to tomorrow.

I do feel a bit silly about it now though because I've just done some further reading and apparently you'd be experiencing a lot of other symptoms before the shoulder pain as that is a sign of internal bleeding. Is that right?

I guess going early can't do any harm and it will be good to get the pregnancy confirmed. Do you think that they might do a scan to check or that they will say that unless I've had pain/bleeding, not to worry?
