Girls is anybody else feeling any pain in there collar bone to there shoulder tip?

I may be being over concerned but could this be the sign of an ectopic?

I felt a sudden twinge at 4pm today on my right side which went away instantly but from the 2 seconds it lasted it hurt... Since 6pm I have experienced a "pulled muscle" type pain in my collar bone to shoulder tip.

What do you think I should do?

I'm not faint nor sick ..

Am I being paranoid?

Xx

I think it's called shoulder tip pain which happens in the joint that is related to that *I think*.

ask for scan chick, im sure your fine :). dont worry x

Sorry- just reread that- perhaps call your midwife hon. x

I have had pain like that but had early scan at 6 weeks and all was fine. Best get checked though to put your mind at rest hun.x

Call your midwife just to be on the safe side.

If it puts your mind at rest, I had a similar scare the other week. The pain for an ectopic is very specific, on the tip, right where your shoulder ends and arm starts ( i think they say if you turn your head to the side and look down, its in that general area). If its coming from your neck and across the back of your shoulder, its more likely to be stress. The pain i was getting felt more like I'd pulled a muscle at the top of my arm but they still had me in to check it out anyway.

any pain anywhere else? i think its normally accompanied by pain on one side of ur lower abdomen. i would get it checked though hun, i was checked for it but all was fine, i'm sure it will be the same for you xx

I would get it checked out just to put your mind at rest.

I think if it's ectopic you would be having cramps too and being sick xx

Sorry for the late reply girls!! Completely forgot about this thread!

Well when I woke up this morning the pain had completely disappeared so I figured there was no point in wasting my midwives or the local EPU's time! I've been completely fine since!

Guess it's just the joys of pregnancy bringing pains here there and everywhere.

:)

Thanks for all your input ladies x

Glad to hear its gone.... i was gonna suggest indigestion/heartburn - I sometimes feel it like in my collar bone area when breathing in.....maybe I'm weird?? lol

glad its gone huni... didn't think it would be anything to worry about as you had no abdominal pain :)
