when a had me son 6 years ago a seen midwife before my first scan and stuff am now 12 weeks pregnant got me first scan but not seen any 1 at all since went be doctors 8 weeks ago x

I think it differs from area to area but I saw my midwife once at about 10 weeks for a 'booking in' appointment - it was her who then sent off my referral for the 12 week scan xx

meant say got me date for me first scan ill be 13 half weeks by then oh right didnt know differed a was just positive u seen midwife before the scan thanks anyway x

NHS guidelines only say you should have 'booking' apt by 16 weeks. Kinda Crap.

I had a booking appointment at 7 weeks and my scan at 12 x
