Has anyones baby been born at 37 weeks Via a section?

I'm having a section at 37 + 1 baby has had two lots of steroids and they're not saying anything is going to be wrong with him but obviously I'm just worrying a little bit.
How long did you stay in hospital for and was everybody ok?

I had an emergency section at 37+4 I was induced a few days earlier due to baby being in an unstable lie. Anyway he wasn't given any steroids prior to being induced and he was perfectly healthy we stayed in for a few days because I was poorly but all in all it was fine xxx

Not personal experience but a friend had her baby by c section at exactly 37 weeks. Baby was a good healthy weight and they stayed in hospital for 2 days before going home

Okay, phew thanks ladies.
I know he's a good weight and is healthy at the moment. Hence why he's coming out now .
I just want to make sure my baby is okay, and I need to prepare for all eventuallys xx

Plenty of women go into labour naturally at 37 weeks. Babies are cooked enough to survive just fine being born then. Good luck with your section x
