Has anyone had trble conceiving with man on antidepressants

Just wondering if anyone else has a husband or partner who is taking antidepressants whilst trying to conceive?

My partner has been taking Venlafaxine for 6 years (we conceived our two girls whilst he was taking it but obviously he's been on it for a lot longer now). I recently had a miscarriage and have read about a study on the net that suggests antidepressants can affect sperm count/ quality. Has anyone else had any probs - I can't find much info anywhere and the docs are just antidepressant merry!!

My OH was taking Anti-depressants when we was TTC our DS.

It didn't affect us whats so ever.

My OH is now off them and since he came off them i had a miscarriage so it couldn't have been linked to the anti-depressants.

Sorry i'm not much help.

It didnt affect me i was on escitalopram for years and on the pill for 15 years, only took us 3 months ttc
