i was discharged last week and i miss her :(
its ridiculous isn't it?

we formed such a bond and she delivered my little rachael and i never wanted her visits to end

my midwifes are great ive had the same midwifes with all my children.
they now call me apart of the furniture lol
i refused to have any other midwifes last time and this time, if i couldnt have them i was gonna give myself my own antenatle care and deliver baby myself lol

You'll have to have another Budge

The student midwife who helped deliver Daniel (her 2nd birth) was there when Charlotte and Alex were born - same hospital for 13 years (she's not a student anymore though). Rather large lady called Cynthia - love her. She came in on her day off to see us off home after Alex and see 'little' Daniel again.

I miss my midwife too, although she came to visit me last week just to see how we were and Charlie is now 7 weeks. She is a credit to her profession.

 I really didnt like my Midwife, she talked down on me due to my age!! I love my Health Visitor though

:( i did't like my midwife, i was given no support from them, expect from my health visitor. i had an unplanned birth and they spoke to me like dirt.
i had nothing, not even a towel for after birth. after i left that hospital i couldn't of been happier.
they were rude, didn't see me to the car, spoke to me like dirt, like i said before and the general was not much better. if and when i have my next child i wouldn't go back to the same hospital.

love nicky and lauren

i liked none of my h.v's or m.w's

apart from the woman that delivered Dior.

her shift was ment to end at 1pm but she stayed untill 2.20pm as she desperatly wanted to see Dior be born to find out if it was a boy or girl she was so nice if it was not for her i wouldnt have had the strenth to go through with it. she was very firm but in the right way. then she wheeled me up to the ward after Dior was born and i thought it was so nice she gave me a hug and a kiss
then gave Dior a big kiss and went. she was great

The midwife who was with me during a lot of my labour was a WITCH but then her shift ended as I had started to push and I got a different one and she was the loveliest woman ever - I could have named my daughter after her!!!

My community midwife is lovely too. If I have a homebirth there's a good chance she'll deliver the baby which would be good.

It's such an emotional time, I can't understand why some midwives are so grumpy

i loved my midwife, she gave me a big hug when she left for the last time :D :D

I have had so many different midwifes I havent really had a chance to bond!

Although, the past two visits I have had at home and had the same midwife and she is lovely :D

My midwife was lovely...but my favorite was a nurse when we were readmitted...she was lovely she always came in for loads of cuddles with Jakob and would sit with us trying to help with the feeding for hours and hours and just talking in general when shewas on night shift and it was quiet...

When i left hospital i really missed her and all the support i got.. she was so lovely...just one of those people i could easily be friends with :)

I had 4 different midwives before and after the birth, and 4 different ones during labour. Plus all of the different ones on the ward. 99% of them were great, especially the one who came to see me just after we came home, she was brilliant.

I can't wait to get rid of mone. She's nice but I can't do with interference.
