Has anyone conceived a girl bding on ovulation day

Hi all, as oh has been away we missed yesterday and the day before, he's home tonight and I'm convinced I'm ovulating at the moment as I'm in agony on my left and came home from work and done an opk which was very positive very fast. So just wondering what our chances are of a pink bundle this time. I'd be happy either way but just swaying for a girl this time xx

I have read that the day of bd doesn't sway as much as it once was thought. I have heard that trying to lower the sperm count favours girlie sperm, so maybe try and give hubby a hand first to release then use a 2nd sample when actually dtd. Also no orgasm for you is ment to give a more favourable environment for girlie sperm. Good luck hun xx

TS we are all doing good and the boys are growing up so fast. Harry is in year 1 at school and getting on great, James has just turned 3 and is a bull in a China shop haha never sits still and so so loud. My baby Alfie is 18m now and not really a baby anymore but getting on really well even if he doesn't talk to us.

How are you and your boys? How long have you been ttc for? I know you have stopped over some months is that right? xx

Ah good, aw I know it goes way too fast. We are officially ttc since July. Yes we are ttcing between July and December to try to avoid close birthdays lol. My boys are great, in school and preschool now. So hard to believe

Ive been told that a few days before ovulation is the perfect time if your looking to conceive with a baby girl, like one of the other posters said above you should also try not to orgasm because it makes the vagina more acidic apparently, which isnt good for the female sperm, no idea if this is true.
