Hard tummy lumps!?!?

What are these??

Every so often a small section of my tummy goes hard - only lasts a few seconds but its not all over at once

!?!?

yip i get that as well and its just baby's head or hes pushing his bump up cheeky little bugger

Could be the baby or braxton hicks, I get them the odd time because they feel slightly uncomfortabel for me at times and it is sometimes only one side of my tummy!

its probably just the different positions baby is laying in, you get lots of lumps and bumps as baby gets bigger.

BRAXTON HICKS!!!!! I get them all the time, some times its my whole bump, other times its just part of it! I got them loads with DD as well. It was the midwife who told me thats what it was, when she couldn't feel baby because I had one on her table!!!

Sounds like Braxton Hicks to me, or as baby gets bigger you will feel little lumps and bumps as baby presses against you, that can be really freaky!

either way it is strange.

Theyre not big lumps... like smaller than the palm of my hand

I think I have a had slight braxton hicks tho where the whole of my tummy as gone quite tight and not like painful..like dead uncomfy (god help me when im huge!!)

I get them sometimes too hun, like when i wake up in the morning and i lay on my back and it goes proper hard, usually on one side. Sometimes i think i can feel the back or head as it is rock hard lol. Im still waiting for those definite movements too, cant wait!
