there's a lot of sad on this forum today (I'm with you - another bloody pregnancy announcement on facebook from someone who's not even been married as long as we've been trying. Don't they know they just pushed in front of me in the queue - how rude!) so how about a little bit of happy.

something that's made you smile today.

I was sad about the facebook announcement and had a little cry. OH and I were sitting on the bed when he looked out the window and told me to look at the sunset. Suddenly he grabs my hand, pulls me up and tells me to grab a jumper. We jumped in the car, went uphill a bit from the house, into the fields and watched the sunset sitting on a fence. It was absolutely magical and nothing else mattered. nothing at all.

your turn...

On the way home tonight we was coming up the country lane and horror of horrors a tractor pull out in front of us.

But it had this big machine thing attached to the back that was catching on all the hedges and all the way up there was thousands of fluttering white petals sprinkling down on the car and i told myself it was babydust :)

i like the idea of bathtime twirls...except that I still feel a bit icky after my mini egg splurge earlier...

I went to my weigh in class tonight thinking I had put on 2 lbs. Low and behold I lost 1 which takes me to 7 stone in total since June. 98 lbs in total! Came home to a cooked meal, gorgeous hubby who just said I love you no matter what size you are! Oh and a new hazelnut bliss bar to celebrate!

Mmmmm love mini eggs and cream eggs, I like sticking my tongue in a cream egg lol x

Blurgh.

Omg! 98lb that's blooming fantastic, reading that has actually made me smile, well done you, that really is fantastic.. I hope I can do it too x

Thank you Daisy! It is a great feeling! All in the persuit of a healthy sticky bean as the dr (horrible, woman) just dismissed as being 'too obese' last year to even listen to me talk about ttc!

You will do it I am so sure of it! Im here to ask if you want any help. Not that I am an expert! I just ate half a big bar of Hazelnut Bliss and may be in a chocolate coma soon!

I'd love to know how you did it, I've been trying to lose weight for years, I did manage it once kept weight off for about a year but put it all back on plus more since, that was with WW but wasn't actually following their plan was starving/binging .. Not recommended obviously, I was in my early 20's then & extremely stupid, have had a bit of success with SW but when things go wrong I stop going and of corse the bad eating continues, I actually did enjoy that plan though it seemed to make sense to me and was healthy anyway ... Boo to the horrible woman who dismissed you, what a cow... have you seen her since yet? X

I have done it through ww and would say now that it is just a complete lifestyle change. I was always someone who never thought that I ate a lot and was unlucky. Seeing it written down on a tracker soon made me realise it wasnt how much I was eating it was what I was eating. I have made simple substitutes of my previous diet for healthier options. I dont mean fruit instead of chocolate I mean swapping my 2 packets of Mc Coys a day to 2 packets of quavers or velvet crunch. Rather than a bar of dairy milk ( not every day) I go for a malteser bunny. When Im drinking going for vodka and diet coke as apposed to a breezer.

The macaroni I was eating for dinner was a whole days points. Weekends were takey aways. I eat hundreds of fruit and vegetables every day now as they are free. I can honestly say I am just swapping my options. I did always exercise but I got an excercise bike to do half an hour religiously ( in the darkness of my own home, never in public). I do go to a ww class every week as a motivation. It was an expense (free now) but if it gets me a sticky bean Ill pay anything! Money saved on take away anyhow.

Anyway realise this sounds like a look at bloody wonderful me post! I am far from perfect!

Not at all it's good that you have shared this, it's such an inspirational story :) it sounds like WW is much different from when I was doing it (or maybe that's just coz I wasn't actually doing it, just using the weekly class as a weigh in) very well done anyway :) x
