Hand wipes

When at home I am constantly washing Emily's hands with a flannel and water. But not sure what to use when out and about. Given that her hands are constantly in her mouth at the moment I don't want to use anything that shouldn't be ingested. What do you ladies use? Thanks for any suggestions!

A quick wipe with a muslin occasionally and a wipe at nappy time. I figure any germs build up their immune system.

I just use baby wipes at nappy time and before meals. Unless I do it every few minutes I am not going to be able to stop a few germs making their way into their bodies, and as said above, it'll help build their immune systems. I don't think it's something you can stress over too much or you'll be a nervous wreck.
