Hair Colour

Rite, My partner has dark ginger hair and blue eyes, i have medium brown hair and greeny eyes.....willmy baby be ginger??

His dad has ginger hair and his mum has blonde, his brother isnt ginger though he has blonde hair.

My mum has dark hair and my father has light hair, my little brother has light brown/dark blonde hair!



Can anyone help me?!?! xxx

You really cant tell , until LO is born hun .
My OH and I both have brown hair blue eyes and that what Kiara has but she stared out dark brown , blonde, and now medium brown .
So it all depends really.

I have ginger hair and blue eyes and OH has brown hair and brown eyes. There is a lot of ginger hair in my mums side of the family yet all my 3 kids have brown hair and blue eyes. Just pot luck really. I was convinced after having 2 girls with brown hair that I was going to have a ginger boy but no.

I don't know but the ginger is quite often the dominent colour. Saying that though my dad is a red head(not proper ginger) and my mum has brown hair and my hair is brown not red.

My sister is ginger and her son is black haired. My bil is ginger - my niece is blonde.

Ginger is recessive as far as I can remember so would need the genes from both sides somewhere along the line. That's why the hair colour is so unusual.

Not an exact science tho as you can't predict what genes you will pass on - my son is dark blonde, I am dark brown his biological father had black hair.

I have ginger hair, and I'd love a little ginger baby - have you seen how cute the one in the Mothercare catalogue is? I can't see why people seem to get so worried about having a baby with red hair.

I never once said i didnt want my child having red hair!!


And i am not worried, if i didnt want my baby to have ginger hair i wouldnt have got pregnant to my partner who does!!



I think what u have said is a little bitchy to be honest with you!!



I will love my child if its blonde/brown/black/ginger hair i dont really care what colour it is!!


At the end of the day i wasnt sure of the chances so i asked......
