Had another small bleed babies r fine but got a hematoma

Hi girls! Woke up this morning and Had a small gush of brown/pink ish blood. Went to hospital had a scan and babies r fine, but they saw a hematoma by the side of sack. Said I may have one or two small bleeds or spotting again or it may be re absorbed but they aren't worried as babies r fine. Anyone else had this? Such a nervous wreck xx

I keep having bleeds..............they can not find out where mine are coming from though, all very worrying!

If they are not worried, then I am sure it will all be fine, but it must be very difficult to stay calm if this keeps happening. Feeling for you - good to hear that the babies are well, though!

Hey lovely it is quite a common cause of bleeding so don't worry also g as babies r ok!

I had a hematoma and luckily my consultant said he'd scan me every week until I was reassured that my baby was fine. I guess it was reabsorbed eventually as I had no more bleeds from about 11 weeks onwards.


Jake is nearly 7 weeks old now so all ended well here. xx

Ah hun hope you're ok. It sounds like Docs think there's nothing to worry about, so try not to worry. Glad babies are ok.

Thanx ladies just a small blood clot on edge of the sack apparently that mY cause a few bleeds until absorbed they said by 20 weeks it shud go hopefully. I'm getting scanned every 2 weeks now and they said they see it alot and aren't worried. Placenta isn't lying low which is good for now and both babies r growing nearly equally which Is a good sign. So trying to relax, better to have a reason than be unexplained xxx

So glad all is well. My friend had a haematoa and she bled a little for weeks (sorry to tell you that) but by the next scan there was no sign of it and the bleeding had stopped. Baby was absolutely fine. Hope it settles down quickly for you
