Had an early scan today

Hi well we went for a private scan today and saw our little bean, saw the heart beat and we have a dvd of it, the pic wasnt that clear and we were put back to 6 weeks 4 days but she said that could change next time as it wasnt a dating scan. Were so happy we are planning to go back in 2 weeks time because if its all fine then we can relax more. Just wanted to update, hope your all well. xxxxxx

Glad all went well for you today! You must be so relieved!

I'm wondering whether to book in for an early scan next week (we're planning on telling our family when we see them next weekend, and so could have a scan on the Friday, which would put us at about 6 weeks).

In two minds though........... Would be great if it all went well, as that would put our minds at rest before we saw our folks, but what if they can't see our bean clearly enough to detect heartbeat etc? Then I wouldn't know whether to tell family or not! I'm thinking I might just wait for the NHS scan, but it's so long to wait!

So many decisions!!!

Awwwwww it's lovely seeing bubs. I hung on until week 8 but even then it was just a fuzzy blob. But I love my blob pics.
