Had a scare today...

Woke up this morning and had a wee.... when I wiped I noticed horrible brown bloody discharge that smelt strongly of blood..

Rang the doctors and got booked in at 10am and I was still leaking this discharge.. Saw the doctor and she couldn't find a heartbeat and sent me to the hospital and they found the heartbeat straightway and everything's fine - the discharge has stopped and its apparently 'one of those things'

Pregnancy is so scary!!!!

So glad everything is fine with you and LO.

I had a bleed from 10pm Wed and had a scan yesterday morn (everything fine).Still bleeding now.

I agree with you even though i tried to keep a brave face on at home i broke down crying when i had my scan, such relief.

It just shows how protective and attached you get to your LO so fast.

Awww hun..........how worrying for you ! So glad everything is okay.....sorry, personal qu.: had you bd'ed with OH? This can sometimes cause a little bleed - and they say brown blood is the least worrying as its old blood - so that might be useful to know for peace of mind too

No I didn't last night however I did LOADS of cleaning last night and was lifting a heavy hoover up and down the stairs etc and was sorting out lots of washing and was generally really busy - so maybe that didn't help.

Cor didn't it! She was trying for over 10 mins and couldn't find it - was in the room at the hospital for 2 mins and the widwife found it straight away
