Had a fall a minute ago. Didnt land on stomach or anything but wasnt sure if I should see midwife. Slid down a couple of stairs and landed onto my bum. I cant just ring the midwife as they dont give a number to ring.

It certainly wont do any harm to get checked over though im sure everything will be fine.

I would get checked over if it was me, even if its just for peace of mind

When I fell on my bump at 30 weeks they said if baby doesn't move within and hour then get checked, but there is less fat then. Ring your GP surgery and ask to speak to a doctor today to ask if you need to be seen. I'm sure you will be fine though!

I fall all the time with passing out and and always wake on my front,
all the consultants and docs said the baby is well protected and told me not to worry but if im ever conserned to ring them

aawww hannah... im sure everything is fine

i had a fall at 13 wks and my midwife told me everything is well protected inside, but if u start to feel pain.. then go straight to the 'DELIVERY UNIT' in hospital

best of luck sweetie

oh no! are you ok? are you bruised? i always get a shock when i fall. like everyone says if you are concerned that the baby isnt moving you should get it checked.

i didn't know you had a fall then sami - were you outside when it happened??

I hope you're ok hun, and I am sure all is well baby!!! xx

Poor you
I fell in the garden two weks ago, spraining my ankle, was in so much pain I passed out-I was really worried about bubba but s/he was soon moving about-little bugger slept through the whole drama I think!!! LOL

Make sure you rest and take it easy, I was really whacked for days after, it really knocks the stuffing outta you. Take care of yourself xxxxxxxxx

thanks for all your posts. I rung NHS direct and spoke to a doctor. Was told to rest but they said as long as the baby is moving, I didnt need to go to hospital. I have pulled the muscles on my right side and have a massive bruise along my upper arm. Baby has been moving fine, if not move. Probably wondering what is going on. OH came home and looked after me. Thanks everyone
