i have just put willows name down on a waiting list for when she is 2 to join a proper gymnastics club, its a bit expensive but its something i really want her to try and hopefully enjoy (only time will tell)
Is anyone else thinking of doing this?

i'll definitely sign Anjali up as soon as she's old enough! I did gymnastics for over 10 years, and also coached for a few years. i hope she will enjoy it as much as i did! It teaches great self discipline, strength of mind as well as physical fitness AND its so much fun! (until it gets serious..lol)

its something i wish i did and would love to be able to do, i guess im kinda trying to live my dream through willow although if she does not like it i will not force her to do it.

same here, if she doesnt inherit my love for it, there's no point!!

Id like Thea to go to Gymnastics too. She goes to toddler gym on a Thursday and loves it! She just started Baby Ballet too :) Im hoping she will love Ballet as much as i did and want proper lessons once she turns 3.

My two big girls both do ballet and 'acro' (floor acrobatics) they love it, every year they do grading and a show at the local theatre. It's an hour and a half a week of fun excersise and as they get older, will hopefully give them something to focus on, rather than 'other' activities teens can get in to(not saying all do - just some). Their dance school runs pre school classes so I will take Freya along when she is a little older to see if she likes it.

Yep Maddison will be going when she is old enough too if she likes it. I did gymnastics for a few years when I was younger too and I loved it :D

:D Its great that your doing it I hope she enjoys it.

I did gymlastics and trampolining when I was growing up and the benifits are still showing now (I stopped 6 years ago...started when I was 3) I seriously think this is the reason why my body and why I coped with the strain of pregnancy so well due to the stomach muscles being strong. I thanked my mum so much for getting me to do sports when I was growing up whilst I was pregnant!

I do have the legs of a rugby player though I scared the midwife when she was checking my legs for swelling. One of my legs was tensed up and she started panicking over the huge lump in my calf I had to near shout at her It was just muscle and to check my other leg before going mad and calling in a load of doctors she really did panic!!!
