OMG Ella is a nightmare in this heat!!

Her room says it's 29 degrees, she's in there crying at the moment (already been in lots and just gave her boob), but she just wont settle :(

She's been really really bad tempered in the day aswell, plus she's teething. By the time mid-afternoon comes round I've barely got the energy to pick her up!

Everyone else suffering aswell?

Aimee has been so grumpy today. She went bed like 45 minutes ago and she still hasn't settled and she normally goes stright off. Just been up and put a fan on so hope that does the job!

I have a fan on in the bedroom too, I'd be lost without it.

Yep I have a very grumpy Zara, although saying that she is asleep. She woke up 5 times between 1am and 6am last night for milk and she was boiling.
There's a fan on in the bedroom and she's only in her nappy but she's still too hot.She keeps whimpering in her sleep poor love.
I'm off to bed now. No sleep, first day at work all too much for me. Night night

I'm lucky, Seren doesn't seem to be phased by the heat but there is something not quite right with her so am seeing the doc hopefully (if I can get a sodding appt). We have a fan in the bedroom, and when I put a cover on her she just kicks it right off.

OMG yes! I have had a pants week- he has had 4 teeth coming at once! The top two and the two next to them so I've had little sleep and a grumpy baby- arrgh! I can't tell if it's the teeth, the weather or anything else. He had diarrhea at the weekend too which a nice nurse from NHS Direct reckoned was due to the teething (?). It's cleared up now but he's still unhappy generally. Bring on the cooler weather!

Mind you my poor sister in law is due next Monday and her bump is huge. I have so much sympathy for how hot she must feel right now :o

Rosebay - Ella's 4 top teeth are the ones causing her gip. They've been an absolute bloody nightmare!!

Damien has literally only just gone to sleep int he last 10minutes, my god what a nightmare!

Ella only settled after I put her in her .5 tog grobag - it seemed to hot for it though :(

Damien is just in a nappy, no covers, it's 30 in my bedroom and the fan is on too, it's rediculous, It was 37 here today

god yer im walkin about w justa a bikinin on with my bump hangin out lol n bayleys in his nappy asleep in the garden lol much cooler out there
luv b x

Aimee is just in a nappy with no covers and shes still sweating. Feel so sorry for her!

Kina- aha, so the top 4 are more painful then? I had wondered as the bottom 2 only caused minor grumpiness and tears whereas these (especially the side 2) seem to be really upsetting him. Lets hope both babies' teeth come thrugh soon!!

Harrys sleeping in just his vest. I can't get him off to sleep by just putting him in his bed like normal because he wriggles and rolls around the place. I've been trying to get him to roll over for so long, and now I can't stop him! He gets to sleep better in his pram for some reason, then I transfer him over when he's well gone!

Little angel is still sleeping for 10 hrs a night non stop!

Much better today and tonight, Ella had been the same the past couple of days but today she went down for two naps fine and she went down tonight at 8 with no problems  the night before it was 11 before she went to sleep!

I'm the odd one out because Isaac is no trouble bless him. He is flat out with the fan on in just his nappy.

omg Summer is exactly the same will not settle without her growbag and look at the weather. haveu got any tips to get them out of the growbag. they feel secure in it dont they.she is in just a nappy though but a thick growbag. got fan on though lol babies xxxx

No tips I'm afraid :( Ella's really attached to hers!

Ella will be 18 and still wearing hers!! :rotfl:

I get mine from www.bumpto3.com as we know a lady who works for there that gets them half price for us, therefore they don't work out too expensive. Ella's in the 6-18 month ones and they're huge! I packed her 0-6 month one away a few weeks ago and it seemed so ickle :(

I think there are some website out there though that sell them at a cheaper price :)

James has been unsettled too. He takes after me. I hate heat and get v grumpy.

He's been naked for the past week basically. Nappy at night and hardly worn gro bag but we have had the turning over problem...argh.

Am making some lightweight grobags out of muslin. Seems to settle better with 'something' covering him but as you say Kina, too hot for it really!
