Do your hospital test for it?

From what I've seen while in hospital I think it should be a a routine test in late pregnancy. It's surprising the amount of girls that are coming back with it.

I'm lucky that my hospital do routinely test for it.

So do yours?

I never did during pregnancy but they tested just after I'd given birth!
Hope your ok mamafy x x

didnt test at my hospital x

I don't think I've ever even been told about it, only read about it on here!

My hospital doesn't test 4 it unless it's known to run in ur family...my friends baby died from it xxx

mine dont test routinely for it, but it showed up in my wee both times! hope you're ok huun xxx

I've asked about my mw about this and they don't routinely test here. She said only 8% of people have it but as far as I'm concerned, that's still 8% and it should be tested for.

I've not been tested for it since I had my eldest 11 years ago, hope everything going well mamafy xx

They didn't test at mine but only discovered I had it through testing to see why I was having so many water infections, so lucky I did really!

i had it at the beginning of my pregnancy and have it again. I was initially treated for it but now the midwifes have said i need iv antibiotics in labour. we all have it but for some reason my levels are high!. i only found out this time cause i had bad thrush and it showed up in swabs. am going to ask midwife today of that meanswhenmy labour begins they will have to admit me straight away as they like you to have at least some anti-biotics on board before birth. am glad they have seen it and i can get treated for it.
