Gross EWCM Question......Sorry if TMI!!

Please could someone confirm what has just happened to me, I'm thinking it's fertile time but would like an expert's opinion.

Right, here goes , I had my pyjama's on earlier so no undies and I had the most weird sensation as something 'fell' out of me. Upon closer inspection, it was EWCM which can only be described as a big blob on my inner thigh - lovely I know!!! I'm a bit embarressed to admit at my age I do not understand my bodily functions completely but then I have been on the pill for a LONG time and that isn't a true reflection of a womans bodily happenings.

I haven't been taking too much notice of EWCM, was previously using OPK's but don't have any and have never come across anything so big in my nik naks before, sorry again!!!

What i've read so far is that the type of CM you have is post ovulation. When you ovulate it turns clear, like egg white and that's the best time to grab you OH!!

Ok...here's what it says in my little book:


"Immediately after your period you will produce very little CM and you will most probably feel dry around the vagina. A few more days into your cycle and you will begin to feel more slippery around your vagina and may notice some sticky or creamy mucus. As ovulation nears, your mucus increases in quantity and becomes clear and stretchy. This is a sign of your fertility."

Also, you can see if it stretches between your fingers ~ apparently, the clear CM can stretch between 3-4 inches!!

Thanks you two, yes I would say it looked to be stretchy and definately clear. I didn't test the stretchiness of it I was too disturbed by the amount

I thought it was fertile CM but needed to double check!!! Thanks again <rushes off to seduce OH....well after XFactor !!!> xxx
