What a wonderful opportunity I have to let you know that we have finally had a cash offer on our house!! It was a bit unexpected and the offer was low, but we're still making a small profit and will not care about what may have been.
This all happened today!!!

DH is coming home tomorrow as we're packing - moving to Cape Town this coming Tuesday! We're all really excited. It has been nearly 6 months since DH got the job and now I'm really looking forward to another exciting chapter to add to my life.

I have felt so terribly blue the past few weeks... not knowing what was happening - it was tiring me out. BUT, here we are... a whole new adventure awaits us all!!!

Can't stop feeling lucky!

Thanks everyone - I appreciate your kindness!

Luckily the move to CT was planned a few weeks back. We were just going to shut the door and go, but now, a buyer has come along.
Can't wait - I love country living, which we've had now, but it has been very isolating for me and I can not wait to embrace the city life again... we'll be living in a southern suburb.... not too far from Camps Bay Lucybee... will send you some piccies to remind you of all the talent around there!!!!! (Beanie... pack yer bags)

Kids have been accepted to a semi-private school and they can't wait. They are such a scottish pair, but managed to learn Afrikaans in the time we've been here.
The softy Labrador and silly Jack Russell is coming too, although the Jack Russell is a little bugger for chewing up everything - great at digging up moles though!

Anyway... I'll be off line for most of next week, but should be back on line by next weekend. I'll miss all your news, but will catch up again soon.
