went up to town today, avec OH and Willow, was a lovely bus journey, Willow was so well behaved the whole day... got some really nice clothes for W on offer, also my OH *cough* I mean "Willow" got me a HUGE box of Thorntons for my birthday....we went to the park and the three of us messed about for a while, Willow fell asleep in her daddys arms... then I had her in my sling and a wee old woman came up and said "That's the way I like to see a baby carried...up close to the heart...you're a lovely wee girl and you've got a lovely mummy" (that last to LO obviously) Also met a lot of people whom i know but who haven't seen W yet...so lots of ego boosting all round.

THEN I got home to discover that not only had my parcel from Myriad arrived (got W a couple of really nice things for her birthday) but that I had also won a hamper in the coffee shop raffle...which i completely forgot I'd entered!

And tomorrow we're going to Mount Stewart ( big national trust property not far away) to watch Jazz on the Lawn- you sit on the lawn in front of the big house and all these jazz bands play....it's lovely even if you hate jazz. We're having a picnic and my ebst friend whom i haven't seen for ages is coming :D :D :D :D

:cheer:

im glad you had a great day!!!!
the picnic sounds fun!!

and how sweet of that woman! i wish i could carry oliver in the sling still, but with the weight of the bump it's too hard. i may dig it out again and have another go

Sounds like a lovely day :cheer: when is you bday Zeb? Is it today? If so Happy birthday hugs from me & Jack

nah it's monday...I'm a big 17! Just like the Dancing Queen, though I doubt "young and sweet" would be an apt description of me.

I personally would have been quite happy to stop at 14 forever, but there you go.

Sounds like you've had a great time, I love days like that 8)

And Happy Birthday... for whenever it is   :cheer:

Sounds like a brilliant day hun and well done on winning the hamper, what was inside it? :D

Loads of candles and other scenty things....from the candle factory where i used to work actually but ever since they closed the shop it has been so hard to get some of them...plus it was all my favourites and discontinued lines and I am a candle obsessive...seriously, ditch uni, I'm going to be carving figures out of wax for the rest of my life, i will never tire of it

We used to have a chain of shops called Wax Lyrical, they all closed down which was a shame as most people love candles and their accessories etc.

There's something so relaxing about dipping candles repeatedly into a whole bunch of vats :D Castle Hill Candles is where the party's at :)

Wasn't it just? I didn't expect that especially not from an old lady, you always expect them to tut.
