Grandparents day!!

last night i had a great idea, grandparents day 11th of September, gonna tell my mum she is a granny for the first time by sending a card

Lovely idea!! I told my parents by buying them a 'Granchild on board' sticker for their car!! My dad is so excited he keeps wanting to stick it in now!!!

Yeah, I told him that we'd ordered him a birthday present that was going to be late (his birthday is Jan and I'm due start of April) but that it came with a delivery note - and then gave him the sign! This is their first grandchild and they are very excited. You'll get such a buzz when you tell your mum - seeing them catch on to what you mean is great and then there's all the hugs and tears!! It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling for the rest of the day!!!

aww, i never got hugs and tears off my parents. my mum is uber excited to be a nan but were not that kind of emotional family and they were being annoying when i went to tell them so i kinda got cross with them and told them in a snappy way.

they asked why i had come to visit and if it was that i wanted money they were skint so i said actually no i came to tell you im pregnant but maybe i shouldnt have .... lol i was peeved at them for a bit too.
