I've applied for child benefit and tax credits, so got about another 2 weeks, until they start paying for me.

I spoke to my brother's old child-minder last night and she had said I can get my childcare paid fully by the government, as long as I am working over 16hrs and have a minder that is willing to be paid by the government. We have made an application to the government today for this, so finger's crossed!

I'm going to be working 31.5 hours per week but I'm only getting £5 per week towards my childcare costs. I can get the vouchers from my work which will save me quite a bit. Let me know if there's a way I can get them to pay all my costs - does it have to be a state nursery?

it is dependent on your income as to how much they will pay http://www.entitledto.co.uk/ this website can help calculate hat you are eligable for. Its not quite as simple as working over 16 hours. If only!
