My physio called me this morning and I have been to collect my crutches from the hospital.

After all this time of being in pain, I can at least now walk, although slowly. I was dreading getting them, but now I have them, they are a godsend. They relieve loads of the pressure when I'm walking, and are making it a lot easier to get around. Only thing is now that my hands hurt, not helping the mild carpel tunnel I have! Never happy, me!! :rotfl:

Glad they are helping your walking hun.
Not that you would want to go anywhere in this heat! :shakehead:

glad you finally got your crutches.. you'll be speeding along on them in no time... :D

I was thinking about you today... if you can't sit for long, stand for long or lie for long - what do you do? must be a night mare... Really hope the crutches start helping you get about. The next stage is a wheel chair.. but then you'd have to get out and push it very so often as you can't fit for long...

I'm coming back a man.. we definatly drew the short straw...

Aww Tankett glad you feel better (a little bit)

Well i did a bit of cleaning tonight at my dads place first time i haved worked since Jack and OMG i got home and the pain in my groin/pelvis is unbelievable.

It feels like when i was pregnant, i am going to have to go back to the docs i think :(

Hope they are making u feel better hun, typical NHS no rush with them.

Take care on them crutches

I think you should definitely go back to the doctors Yvonne. When I picked my crutches up, the physio told me that DH would be able to bring them back to that department while I was in labour as the pain would go straight after. I did query that I knew someone who still had it, and their baby was 6 months old, and she said that was impossible! Obviously it's not, but it sounds unusual hun. She's been a physio for over 30 years, and is the senior one at my local hospital.

Hayley - I can lay in bed okay, just not flat on my back. No, lots of reading gets done!!

reading.... yea!!!! with that young husband of yours... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well i am not sure what happening then Tankett.

I am definately still getting pain and really achy pains in the groin area, if i walk for a while i start to struggle and sometimes turning over in bed is quite hard.
I hooved quite a bit yesterday and i was in alot of pain, i can't get up off the floor easily either.

It feels exactly the same as when i was pregnant but not as painful.

But my physio did say that my right side of hip is a bit higher than my left and that it has alot of movement but i'm not sure if that was SPD related.

it never rains but pours for me

:(

oh tanket! i missed this post for AGES!!!

and look i got a great smilie for you with love from me
