Got doctors appointment today

Finally after trying to get one after a week ive finally got in

Cant remember when happened when i got my first appointment last time. What happenes? xx

All they did with me was basically refer me to mw and tell me what I can't eat! It's such a pointless appointment but you have to have one! x x

take urine sample with you. They may weigh you and measure ur height. I had bloods taken on the 1st appointment too. They also normally go through the pregnancy record book filling out medical history etc, or they may ask you to do it at home.

I went at 4 weeks to the Doctor, she said if i was still pregnant at 6 weeks to then make an appointment for MW to booking at about 8/9weeks

ask for a urine sample pot or if ur not passing ur surgery beforehand then they might ask you to do it once ur at the surgery.

Im not really sure what they do hun as at our surgery we dont get to see a DR, they just take your test as gospel and refer you to the midwife. I rang the Dr's at 5 weeks and the midwife came out to the house at 7 weeks for my booking appointment. Like the other ladies have said theyll probably weigh you and ask for a urine sample. Or they may not and just refer you to the midwife. I think it all depends on which area you live in xxx
