Well... I had an occupational health appointment today with work, after my consultants concerns from my early labour.
The nurse wasn't entirely keen on me being at work but accepted it from me that being at work was lots closer to the hospital than being at home is (which is true by the way). Also at home I'm on my own, whereas at work I'm with lots of trained first-aiders.
Anyhoo, the meeting resulted in my working hours being cut in half for my last 3 weeks there (still getting paid the same thankfully) also, they have insisted that if anything happens with me going into labour again that they are to send for an ambulance rather than taking me in a car. Finally, she wanted someone to be able to drive me into work (livnig alone the majority of the time that's never gonna happen) so she thinks HR at work should facilitate this. I personally think thats madness but I'm not the professional. So its 10 til 2 for me every day now
Mothercare are also sending me a £100 voucher for their shoddy service. Happy with that
