Hi ladies,

As you can see im almost 26 weeks now and im thinking more and more about how im going to feel about my body once i have the baby and whats its going to be like getting used to having my body back!

Can anyone share their experiences of this? I mean, some women seem to keep a bump for a while afterwards whereas others seem to lose it quickly? And what do you wear in those months after birth? Surely maternity wear is not really what u want to be in but i cant see myself wearing normal clothes straight away! I wish i knew how ill feel about myself in 3 months time x

Long dress tops covers any lumps n bumps can't do tummy exercises till at least 6 weeks after birth or it can damage your stomach muscles and you might have a permanent little bump. Also they say 9 months on 9 months off so not too long x

When I had LO, that was the last thing on my mind  I thought about it before, but once he was here I was so busy, with feeds, bottles, sterilizing, winding, washing and catching a few zzzz's to think about it.. Espec with visitors and things coming.. The maternity leggings that go up over your bump are great because you do feel a bit self conscious, I felt comfy wearing those with a baggy top and a cardigan, in all honesty for convenience.. Once LO was a bit older the weight had came off and then I went shopping for a few new bits.. x

I was shocked and I know it sounds stupid but I was expecting to be 'normal' again as soon as I delivered Reshaun! I Was disgusted when I looked about 6 months pregnant as I was a size 10 before pregnant. I wore my same jeans all the way through pregnancy so the bottom half wasn't the issue but my stomach took about a month to go back down.

I know it's meant to help to breastfeed but I only bf for 4 days so ?

I have a pic of myself that I've printed and ready to put on my fridge for after Jaiden arrives as inspiration as it was only a year and a half ago and was very proud of my figure then (even tho I put on the beef a bit before I got my BFP! lol)

This is what I WILL get back to within 9 months of labour!!!! Failure isn't an option lol

you look fab in that pic lexus!

I was a size 10 before i was pregnant too and i was always fake tanned, toned and in the latest clothes etc - im scared its going to be difficult to be the same person after the babys born. I know my priorities will change and im happy for that but i dont want to let myself go, i still want to be me. Plus my OH is a gorgeous fitness finatic so i have that to compete with! x

My bump vanished almost instantly But i've been left with a fat wobbly belly! i was a nice size 12 before pregnancy 15 weeks after having lo Im a size 14, i've started going for a walk every day and Im going to start going to the gym soon xx

This is me a few days (I believe) wasnt more than 2 weeks .. after my third child

My bump went fairly quickly - this was me about 2 weeks after giving birth :) Last pic is what I need to get back to...although it'll have added stretchmarks!!
I am back in all my normal clothes now, and actually weigh half a stone less than before pregnancy! I think it's all this breastfeeding

You've both given me hope too! I was worried I wouldnt get my body back after my second but clearly it's possible if you've had 3!! You both look great so soon after giving birth! Love it!

Cherrelle, not sure how u will be but my style completely changed after o had DS. I loved my body and liked fitting clothes more as I had more curves. I developed a new style that was more mature without being too mumsie. Still got my hair and nails done too! Xx

WSS^^ I don't dress mumsy but I don't dress how I used too.. And I'm still plastered in tan, with nails and bleached hair  It still takes me as long to get ready too

Thanks Hun! I DID look like that. Now I'm that plus a basketball up that dress! Lol. I'll get there after he's here, I'm determined!

I gave myself a target of not looking like Id had a baby by 6 months after and I think Ive achieved that. Breastfeeding totally helps but I only breastfed for a week or 2 but that really helped I think.

The first one was me about 10 days overdue (so still had 5 days of stretching to go lol), then this is me a few minutes ago lol. Its not flat or perfect but Ive given myself a year to get a flat tummy back. The last picture is my usualy attire. I havent changed to way I dress at all. Its all about the slim jeans with vans and a tshirt lol. (excuse the big hips, Ive always been hippy  and excuse the patch lol, its to stop le babies)
