Getting pregnant while on antibiotics...

Hi,

I just discovered I am pregnant... We are very happy, as we have been trying for a long time and we were actually going to make IVF next month!

The ovulation was probably around the 6th of August. Problem is, we didn't know about it, and we started taking non-safe antibiotics to treat Chlamydia... azithromycin on the 12th, and then doxycycline for another 10 days. And now we are worried this could have hurt the baby!

What do you think, what can those antibiotics cause?

Hi, I'm not 100% sure, but I HD a mutual friend who had
chlamydia, but didn't fi d out until she was pregnant and hers was safely treated. I would ring your gp if you're concerned though. Estate of luck x
