My lovely daughter emptied a whole bottle of olive oil over myfloor earlier :dohh: how the hell are you meant to get it out?! I was thnking maybe brown detol? Might try it just for the smell actually :)

my little sister did this once and my mum used some kitchen roll and soaked up as much as she could then used bucket of hot water and some washing up liquid mixed with a strong kitchen cleaner that was good on greasy ovens and stuff and scrubbed the rest off with a scrubbing brush and an old sponge with the rough on one side, then used a mop with clean water to get the soapy stuff off then wiped dry with an old towel :)

:wall: Awww so hard to clean up :(

Agree with Rachel, hot water and Fairy :)

i got told though that olive oil fills any scratches you may have in the floor so you'll have a lovely smooth floor after ;)

awww, my mum gasped in horror
and ran around like a headless chicken to get all the mops and buckets!

I agree a good de-greasant - Mr Muscle Kitchen in the yellow bottle is brilliant at dissolving grease. Hope you get it off, you might find it leaves a dark patch tho?

Hey Alice, I'd try kitchen towel and rub a warm iron over it to lift it from the laminate into the kitchen towel. Hope that helps xxx
