Gagging?

Is anyone else gagging a lot but without nausea or vomiting? It's been mainly in the morning but I'll just dry-wretch even though I don't feel nauseas, sometimes when there's a strong smell, sometimes just because! Definitely have no morning sickness though which I should be grateful for but I'm a bit worried about it as I'm now 6 weeks..

HiYa, I havn't been gagging as such but since I hit 7 weeks, I have been feeling really sick any time my stomach is empty or if I haven't eaten for a few hours!! Thankfully if I have a biscuit or something, it settles it down, im hoping it stays like that!!

I had waves of nausea last week but definitely feel much sicker this week. To be honest everyone's different hun, if I was you I'd enjoy not feeling sick as it'll probably kick in next week xxx

I was very sick up to 14 weeks but now just act like a cat with a furball all the time. Just thinking about someone else being sick makes me retch!!! As does the smell of cat food, taking my vitamins, coughing... the list is endless. My gag reflex is now hyper sensitive!!

I gagged a lot in the early days. Then it turned to being sick, but I gagged mainly. It's horrible! Hope it eases up soon.

gagging and dry wretching is my speciality at the moment, got woekn up with it this morning, mine only started last week at 10 weeks but i had nausea from when i found out til then x

I started out with proper vomiting and now i just wretch if i smell something i don't like!

hey girls i was really bad when i found out i was pregnant which was strange for me because i was fine up until 7 weeks and then started throwing up quite badly! still have the odd occasion where the smell of something makes me gag but it usually stops around 14 weeks good luck to you all xxx

I never felt sick at all and was never sick but when I got up first thing I gagged as I needed to eat one I'd eaten I was fine it doesn't happen that often now probably once a week xx

I do...also cough a lot after eating and brushing teeth which makes me throw up.

I had this every morning and half way through most meals up until 16 weeks then it just stopped! I didn't have physical vomiting except once or twice either. Just the dry gag! I managed to control it by having an instant drink and snack as I woke. N eating a dry biscuit every hour or so plenty of water! When it came to meals I just had to take my time and breath through it a bit. It does get better though!! X

I'm a gagger! Anything can set me off from smells, to fresh air and the yuk taste I seem to have all the time! I've even pulled a tummy muscle from gagging so much! I have been sick though aswell and I more often or not bring up acid! Lovely! xx

i had the same thing from week 6 to week 13!! i gagged alot in the morning time! xxx
