Hi,

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Went for a 10k run earlier, about an hour after I got back my vision went all blurry and I had numbness in my face and hand. Also have a headache. My mum suffers with migraines and has these exact symptoms but I've only ever had one or two in my life. Anyone else had migraines in pregnancy? I have a daughter and never had this with her. Thanks x

Ah yes June2015 seems likes a millions years ago!! How are they toddlers already?!

Perhaps it was just tiredness. I'm trying to keep up my running too, I was preparing for a half marathon before my BFP and had run 10 miles the day before....but then I got all worried about running and didn't run for a week, when I got back out to run 6 miles I found it much tougher than I was expecting... but I was glad I'd done it

Your blood flow increases hugely around this point and your heart has to work a lot harder to deal with this. Your core temperature also increases, so combining this with you overworking your body isn't good at all. This is why you are experiencing the side affects you are. Just take it easy and rest.

Thanks, I have a 10k for Race for Life next Sunday so will rest til then and then after that will stick to 5k runs or less I think.
