Frontal headaches.

Hi ladies
A midwife freaked me out over frontal headaches it's only just started but I've got no vision issues so do I ring the assessment centre or do I wait a bit for it to go? Help please. Worrying now I so do not want to go to hospital again xxxx

No offence hun but your mw sounds a bit prone to melodrama! If your BP is ok, you're not lightheaded or getting blurred vision then I'm sure you're fine. If you're worried, ring your maternity assessment unit or general community midwives and explain your symptoms, they'll be able advise you over the phone. Try not to worry sweets.

Thank you Hun, once I rang to just make sure I was okay the midwife I spoke to demanded the name of the other who got me so worried....think shit hit the fan for her but she said she shouldn't of exaggerated things. Also it went away after a hour or so xxx

I asked a midwife about headaches and she said it was only a concern if it was persistent and didn't go away after taking paracetamol. I've had a few come and go and she said its nothing to worry about xx
