Hi all.
I've been getting sharp pains for the last ten days, in the baby area, whenever I a make a sudden move or go to stand up. It only lasts for a few seconds and then disappears.

I wasn't concerned at first because I had general belly aches too and put it down to my uterus stretching or phantom AF pains, but now it just won't settle down. No blood or other problems (and boobs still growing by the day!).

Has anyone else had this or can anyone offer advice? This is my first baby so I'm perhaps over-worrying everything!

xx

hi lovely im too have pains very low down on my right hand side!! as well as the odd back this is baby no3 and i dont remember having pains like this so being your first i dont blame you for worrying xxx
i did phone doctors and they told me just to rest and as long as no bleeding its normal
its such a worry tho, you could ring too put your mind at rest!! xx

try just moving a bit more slowly pains are normal although iv worried like crazy about all of mine its just natural

I am still getting the odd pain. Not like when I first found out, those felt like perios pains. The ones i get now come as suddenly as they go and are sharp. I am assuming they are normal! xx

It's reassuring to know that other girlies are getting similar symptoms around 6 weeks. And it does seem to be on either the left or the right, rather than in the middle, kinda where I expect my ovaries are. Perhaps they're whingeing because they're outta business for 9 months! xx

i think you should be ok i fink if its really bad pain then i would worry but if it jus period type pains i've had them its jus your uterus stretching so don't worry yourself too much jus remember take it easy :) hey we are due the same day :) :)

Don't worry girls , just think of all the stuff thats going on in your uterus and the amount of changing your body is doing right now - it's so clever really
