Free gaviscon!!

Just a quick one to let everyone know u can get gaviscon on prescription so its free. I'm surprised how many people don't know, so thought I'd share x x

Although I dont physically suffer from heartburn (I had an operation for acide reflux which means I cant physically burp, vomit or suffer from heartburn), I do get really bad trapped wind so it was one of the first things I asked for when I got my pregnancy prescription exemption!!!

I've got both the pernod and toothpaste flavour on prescription and they ming so hard. I hate the stuff.

Haha, over the last 6 months or so, I have had so much of this stuff from the NHS, they must be getting sick of me!! XD I used to get through a big bottle every 2-4 weeks and my GP would give me 2 at a time. I have run out but getting to the doctors is almost impossible without my OH taking me so I can't get to an appointment and seeing as I don't have long left, I'm going to try and do without.

And yes, it does ming very very muchly....

I know I'm going through a bottle a week at the moment, couldn't be without it, don't find the mint one too bad!

I have been getting it on prescription too but such a strugle they give me a small one each time which lasts about 5 days and every time i want a new one i have to write a letter to the surgery asking for some more they refuse to give me a repeat now i have just over 5 weeks to go i get a big bottle its so annoying

Thats really bad! My surgery is good like that, I get a big bottle and have it on repeat too x x

They give us the generic stuff rather than gaviscon branded, and urgh!
