Have I officially given birth to the forum fattie?

Eefie is now just about touching the bottom of the 98th percentile and is more than double his birthweight at 12 weeks. When he was born he was 7lb 15oz and right on the 50th percentile and he was 16lb 6.5oz at 12weeks 1 day.

Is he officially the chunkiest monkey on the board?

Anyone else got a chunky baby and what brand of clothes are the best as trousers can be a little tight on the waist but his legs arent that long (about 75th percentile length wise)

awww bless him

emily is bang on the 75th percentile
i got her weighed at 8weeks and she was 12lb 10oz

most my clothes are george and find the pants are a bit tight round her waist
im lucky i can put her in a dress
im not sure ethan would suit a little pink dress  :rotfl:

I've given up on pants with Nathan and gone for dungarees. They are all to tight on his waist. Not only is he a fatty hes very broad too. At the minutes hes in 9-12 month dungarees from Adams and they fit perfect but I do have to roll the legs up once. The funny thing now is Aimee wearing 9-12 month clothes too! :D

I think I might be winning - Thomas is 6 weeks on Thursday and is 11 pounds 4

Frayed not, that makes him 75th percentile :D

Kellie, Eefie doesnt like dungarees, he keeps trying to chew the panel on the front! I like the tesco jogging bottoms that are really soft and have a thick elastic waistband, his shoes stop them flapping around the bottom. He's in size 1.5, I'm sure DD was barely a size 2 by the time she was 1

Stanley was 7lb 2 born, went down to 6 and then put a pound on a week for the first couple of months

He was 20lb by about 14 weeks old and has always been 98th percentile.

I find Next to be the most generous clothes size-wise, and be prepared for everyone you meet to look at him and say 'HOW old??'

LOL Minxy, even the health visitors go OMG How old??

Wonder if its their cloth bums giving them more room to grow

Nathan was 12lb 8oz at 6 weeks but hes weights slowed down a lot now and he was 16lb 3oz last week. Hes not too keen on the dungerees either and the are aways sucked to death but I just haven't found any pants with loose enough elastic on the waist.

Look in your red book hun where they plot the babies growth. Basically 75th percentile means that of 100 babies, 75% will be smaller than yours :)

Editted 1am typo!
