Forgotten how to latch at 13 weeks?

Henry is really startin to hurt me when he feeds at the mo. it's been since Friday when I was told by hv to feed h more regularly to try & get him to put some weight on.

It feels like razor blades sometimes, he doesn't seem to have as much boob in his mouth as he used to & when he lets go (or I unlatch him) my nipple is flat.

I'm gonna go to the bf group on Thursday as there lactation guru goes to that group & see what she thinks but I dunno what to do in the meantime.

Do I just unlatch each time it hurts until then or is there anythin else I can try?

I would unlatch when it hurts. F has started doing this today and shaking his head so he doesn't latch on properly. Think the group is a good idea though. Good luck! Xx

Don't have the same problem but sometimes Harry messes and doesn't latch when I'm holding him

I then lean him do he's lying out across my lap and lower my boob into his mouth

Sounds a bit weird but it works. Once he starts sucking I then raise him back up into position iykwim xx

try a diff hold or lying down maybe. Alyssa was refusing boob yesterday but when i tried lying down on the bed before putting her in her cot she suddenly took it again. odd baby lol
