OH goes white and leaves the room when I watch baby tv as I call it (birth stories on sky)...he says he doesnt know how I can out myself through watching it, as I normally end up in tears, terrified at the end of it!!!

Thanks but I just had parenting class tonight and it left me feeling anxious and nervous. I think I have information overload about the birthing process now. It creates all kinds of worries in my head. Need to just relax now and wait for the babe to gestate in her own time.

There has been some arguement on this topic now, they are saying it is intrusive and will stress the delivering mother during the birth etc.....

I'm sorry but i'm sure she would have to give her consent before it goes ahead and if she didn't want it to happen she just says no!!

Yeah but surely the woman giving birth has control over it. After all she did agree to it. But if she didnt want them there, then all she would have to do is tell them to bugger off.

Yep, its the most natural thing to happen and i think it is great to be shown on telly like that.

The woman is obviously happy for it to go ahead hense th reason they are doing it.
