Food poisoning i think

Went for an Indian last night, and have been violently sick every 2 hours since 2am this morning, not keeping sips of water down either, running a temp and feeling very weak, tried calling maternity unit and getting no answer....😓

They've told me to keep trying sips of water and little nibbles of food...if no better by this evening to call back...

Oh no poor you! I had viral gastroenteritis when I got back from holiday and it was just awful, similar to you throwing up all the time, had the other end too and it wasn't pleasant. You need to keep an eye on if you are going to the toilet; I had stopped weeing and they were worried about hydration levels; so had to go in for a drip to rehydrate. try to drink an egg cup amount every 10 mins (what I was advised). Hope you feel better soon

Have managed to keep some sips of water down and a cracker...have just taken paracetamol, hoping it stays down as my fever isn't dropping....will keep an eye on wees, not been yet xx
