Flu vaccination for kids?

Has anyone managed to get their kids vaccinated? I've tried Boots but they won't give it to anyone under 16...I really wanted to get them done before pre-school starts again x

I have spoken to my gp about it (i guess it works differently here , he has said then when I have it he would advise everyone including Aoibheann to have it ..)

There's a Bupa place near us... might give them a call and see if they'll do it. It's the same vaccine they have in the US where the CDC are advising all kids to have it so I don't understand why they won't give it to under 16s x

There's a place about half an hour away but it's not open weekends or bank holidays so I'll call them in the morning. I'm sure I saw a post by someone on here saying they'd got the whole family done somewhere...I'm sure it shouldn't be this hard

Bupa won't give it to under 16s either and doesn't know anywhere that does

Codies had it at the docs but she's got asthma talk to the doc thou as children under 5 shud be having it done

Thanks everyone... I called the doctor today and they've agreed to do them (as long as they have enough stock) on 18th January - best they can do as they're all booked up until then and nowhere else will do it so I'm happy with that I wouldn't be so worried if Toby hadn't been in hospital with breathing problems before, so I'd be so worried if he did get it x
